Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Chocolate Bars Recalled Across Canada Over Undeclared Pistachio
Canadians are being asked to check their cupboards after a recall was issued for certain Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo chocolate bars due to an undeclared allergen.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says the recalled products may contain pistachio, a tree nut that is not listed on the label. The products were sold across Canada and online.
The recall is classified as Class 1, the highest risk level, because people with a pistachio or tree nut allergy could experience a serious or life-threatening reaction. The recall was issued by Mondelez Canada Inc., and allergic reactions have been reported.
