The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recalled certain Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Candy Bars because they may contain undeclared pistachios. The products were sold across Canada, online, and the 12-pack was also available at Costco. The recall was triggered by the company, and there have been reported allergic reactions.
The CFIA also recalled certain Hershey’s Kisses Creamy Milk Chocolate products because they may contain undeclared almonds. These chocolates were sold nationwide, and one allergic reaction has been reported.
Consumers should check the UPC codes and lot numbers listed in the recall notices to see if their products are affected.
The CFIA says anyone with an allergy or sensitivity to pistachios or almonds should not eat the recalled chocolates. Consumers should throw them out or return them to the store where they were purchased.
