Trump says Iran hasn’t faced enough consequences as he looks at a new peace plan.

Donald Trump said he will review a new peace plan from Iran but doubts it will work, saying Iran hasn’t faced enough consequences.

Reports say Iran sent the U.S. a 14-point proposal that includes lifting sanctions, removing U.S. forces nearby, and ending the war. Trump said the plan may not be acceptable and hinted that more military action is still possible.

A ceasefire has been in place since April, but talks have not made much progress. The U.S. says it will not agree to peace unless Iran gives up any chance of building nuclear weapons, while Iran says its program is peaceful.
