Peanuts recalled in Ontario and Quebec due to possible Salmonella contamination

Canadian food safety officials have recalled PK Roasted Lemon N’ Chilli Peanuts sold in Ontario and Quebec because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says consumers should throw the peanuts away or return them to the store. Contaminated food may not look or smell spoiled but can still cause illness, including fever, vomiting and diarrhea.

No illnesses have been reported.
