Health Canada has issued a recall for Ultra Big Blue Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner due to improper labelling and a lack of child-resistant packaging. The issue could lead to accidental exposure and may cause serious illness or injury.
No injuries or incidents have been reported in Canada as of July 28, according to Health Canada’s recall notice.
The recall affects 255-gram (9-ounce) containers of the toilet bowl cleaner. The company says 72,273 units were sold across Canada between July 2020 and July 2026.
Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and dispose of it according to local hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
Anyone who experiences a health or safety issue related to a consumer product can report it to Health Canada.
