Police across Canada are searching for a man convicted of murder who escaped from a prison in Quebec and might be in southwestern Ontario.
Ontario Provincial Police are working with Quebec police to find 69-year-old Lory Bill Germa. He escaped from the Archambault Incarceration Centre in Quebec, where he was serving time for a murder he committed in 1992.
Germa is described as Métis, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs about 165 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes and has several tattoos, including a sword, the name “Carol,” a flying skull, seahorses, dragons, clouds, lightning bolts, and the Grim Reaper. He also has a scar above his left eyebrow.
Police think he could be in the South Bruce, Hanover, or Grey-Bruce areas of Ontario.
People are warned not to go near him. If you see him, call 911 right away.
