Ford recalls more than 4,200 vehicles in Canada over safety issues
Ford has recalled 4,204 vehicles in Canada over two safety issues involving headlights and rearview cameras, according to Transport Canada.
Headlight problems affect 3,227 vehicles
The first recall affects certain 2025 to 2027 Ford Expeditions and 2026 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with LED headlights.
The headlights, parking lights or daytime running lights may be dim or fail to work.
Transport Canada warns the issue could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
Ford will notify owners by mail and ask them to visit a dealership for an inspection. Headlight assemblies will be replaced if needed.
Rearview camera issue affects 977 vehicles
The second recall affects certain 2026 Ford Rangers with a 10.1-inch display screen.
The rearview camera image may not appear when the vehicle is in reverse, making it harder for drivers to see behind them and increasing the risk of a crash.
Ford will notify owners by mail. However, Transport Canada said the repair plan is still being developed.
The two recalls affect a total of 4,204 vehicles in Canada.
