Several products sold in Canada have been recalled this week over safety concerns, including food, a children’s book, hair mousse and smart glasses.
The recalls involve risks such as undeclared allergens, foreign materials, choking hazards, burns and packaging defects.
Recalled products
– Schwarzkopf Professional Osis Grip Mousse (200 mL): Recalled because the can may leak and burst under pressure, creating an injury risk. Consumers should stop using it and return it for a refund.
– So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Frozen Dessert (500 mL): Recalled nationwide due to possible plastic-like and gravel-like pieces. Do not eat the product; throw it out.
– Make Believe Ideas “I Spy a Fly!” board book: The plastic wings on the final page can detach and create a choking hazard. Stop using the book and follow the company’s refund instructions.
– INMO AIR3 Smart Glasses: The left side may overheat during extended use, posing a burn hazard. Users should stop using the glasses and update the firmware before using them again.
– Go! Beanz Roasted Broadbeans (Ketchup and Salt & Pepper): Recalled in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick because they contain undeclared milk. People with a milk allergy should not eat them.
