Compliments Chicken Burgers Recalled Across Canada Over Undeclared Egg.

Leadbetter Foods Inc. is recalling Compliments Smashed 100% Chicken Burgers in Canada because they contain undeclared egg, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said Thursday.

The recalled burgers come in 680-gram packages containing eight chicken patties. The UPC is 0 55742 58333 5.

The products are sold at stores including Sobeys, Voilà, FreshCo and Safeway.

The CFIA has classified the recall as Class II, meaning there is a moderate risk of short-term or non-life-threatening health problems.

No allergic reactions have been reported. Consumers should not eat, sell, serve or distribute the recalled burgers.
