Candy recalled in Canada over safety concerns

A protein candy sold across Canada and online has been recalled because it may contain milk that is not listed on the label.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says several Gummy Gainz Protein Candy products are affected. The recall was launched after a consumer complaint, and one allergic reaction has been reported.

Anyone with a milk allergy or sensitivity should not eat the recalled candy, as it could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Consumers should throw the products away or return them to the store where they were purchased.

The recall affects multiple flavours and package sizes of Gummy Gainz Protein Candy. It was issued by ProSweets Inc. and published on July 4, 2026.
