More than 1.2 million Thermos products are being recalled in Canada because they could cause serious injuries.
On Monday, Health Canada warned that certain Stainless King Food Jars and Thermos Sportsman Food & Beverage Bottles may be dangerous. If food or drinks are left inside for too long, pressure can build up and cause the lid to pop off suddenly, creating a risk of impact and cuts.
More than 1.2 million of the recalled products were sold in Canada between 2009 and 2021. The company has received 10 reports of incidents, including three injuries.
Health Canada is urging people to stop using the recalled products immediately and check the Thermos website for more information.
