Product recalled in Canada after injuries reported

Certain beds sold by Costco in Canada are being recalled after injuries were reported in the United States.

The recall involves Oaklynn canopy beds, which may collapse when moved. The falling canopy beams can hit users and cause injuries.

The company, Samson International, said no injuries have been reported in Canada as of March 18. However, in the U.S., there have been five incidents where the canopy collapsed, with four people suffering shoulder and head injuries.

The affected beds were sold on Costco’s website in king and queen sizes. Customers are told not to move the beds and to contact Samson for a free repair kit.
