Yoplait Yop Yogurt Drinks Recalled in Canada Due to Possible Plastic Pieces

Many Yoplait yogurts have been taken off store shelves in Canada after the company said some products may contain small pieces of plastic.

Yoplait Canada explained that it issued the recall after finding a problem with one of its packaging parts, which could let plastic get into its drinkable yogurts. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is now handling the recall.

All flavours of the 200-millilitre YOP drinkable yogurt are included, but only products with best-before dates from Oct. 21, 2025, to Jan. 12, 2026 are affected.

Yoplait says it is working with the food agency and stores to make sure the recalled yogurts are removed and not consumed.

“The health and well-being of Canadians is our top priority,” the company said on its website.
