Cineplex to Offer $5 Movie Tickets and Popcorn in Special Promotion This Month

Cineplex Offering $5 Tickets and Popcorn on Select Tuesdays This Month

Cineplex is bringing back a popular deal later this month, offering moviegoers an affordable night out at the theater.

On Tuesday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 29, general admission tickets and small popcorn will each be available for just $5. Keep in mind that a $1.50 online booking fee still applies (reduced to $1 for Scene+ members, and waived entirely for CineClub members or in-theatre purchases).

This isn’t the first time Cineplex has rolled out the Tuesday deal, and it’s once again available for a limited time. Moviegoers can also upgrade to premium formats like UltraAVX for an additional fee. Plus, Scene+ members will continue to receive an extra 10% off Tuesday admission prices.

The promotion comes at a great time, with a lineup of buzzworthy films hitting theatres. Families can check out the box office hit A Minecraft Movie, while adult audiences have plenty to choose from, including Sinners (the latest release from Black Panther director Ryan Coogler), Drop (a gripping technothriller starring The White Lotus‘ Meghann Fahy), and Warfare, a hyper-realistic military film co-directed by Civil War filmmaker Alex Garland.

Note: The promotion does not apply to non-feature film screenings or special events, such as the ongoing “Room to Dream: A David Lynch Retrospective”.
