Wacom update for Samsung Galaxy

Wacom Co, Ltd., announced that its unique digital pen technology has been adopted by Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Z Fold4, Samsung’s latest foldable phone with refined functionality whether opened, closed, or in Flex mode (angles between 75° and 115°).

Being the first device to ship with Android 12L by Google for large-screen experiences including foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold4 is ideal for multitasking. Apps by Google allow you to quickly copy and paste links, photos and more from one app to another, or Microsoft’s full OfficeSuite and Outlook provide more information on the screen faster, taking advantage of the foldable display.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 with S Pen

By displaying a number of windows on the large foldable screen and being able to move freely between them, the full potential of multitasking with the S Pen*1 is realized. Wacom’s EMR® (Electro-Magnetic Resonance) technology allows for easy and flexible control, from on the go drawing, to jotting down notes during a video call, or checking off a to-do list while reading emails.

“As our partnership evolves year by year, the space for our collaboration expands even more,” said Nobu Ide, Representative Director, President & CEO of Wacom. “We are excited to further our efforts around digital pen and digital ink to continue delivering innovative and meaningful pen and ink experiences to our customers throughout their lives,” he added.

The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Standing Cover*2 with Pen case (sold separately) are offered in refined colors that include Graygreen, Beige and Phantom Black (offered colors may vary by market, carrier and retailer), and will be generally available starting August 26 in select countries.

Wacom is committed to supplying attractive digital pen solutions to customers in collaboration with our ecosystem partners.
