Certain Lay’s Chips Recalled Due to Potential Allergen Risk

Frito-Lay Recalls Select Lay’s Classic Potato Chips Due to Undeclared Milk

Frito-Lay is recalling specific 13-ounce bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips due to the potential presence of undeclared milk, which poses a risk to individuals with milk allergies or severe sensitivities.

The affected bags have a “guaranteed fresh” date of February 11, 2025, and manufacturing codes 6462307xx or 6463307xx, according to the company’s announcement on Wednesday.

These chips were distributed to retailers and online sellers in Oregon and Washington, becoming available to consumers in early November. Frito-Lay confirmed that no other Lay’s products are impacted by the recall, and no related health issues have been reported to date.

Consumers with milk allergies are advised to discard the product immediately to avoid serious allergic reactions. For questions or concerns, customers can contact Frito-Lay at 1-800-352-4477.
