Several Thunder Bay Public Library branches will see updated hours in the new year, bringing expanded access to most locations.
Changes by Location:
- Brodie Library: Hours will be reduced on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with closing times shifting from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Waverley Library: Sunday hours will be introduced, and Wednesday and Thursday closing times will extend to 8:00 p.m., up from 5:00 p.m.
- Mary J.L. Black Library: Similar to Waverley, Sunday hours will be added, and Monday and Tuesday closing times will also extend to 8:00 p.m.
- County Park Library: No changes will be made to its current schedule.
The new hours will take effect on January 2, 2025, reflecting the library’s ongoing efforts to enhance community accessibility.
