Ontario City is set to welcome its first-ever Costco location soon.

Costco is gearing up to make waves in yet another Ontario city with the grand opening of its 42nd location in the province this Friday.

Brantford residents, get ready! Whether you’re craving a Double Chunk Chocolate Cookie or stocking up on Kirkland essentials, Brantford will soon join the ranks of Ontario cities with a Costco warehouse. The new location is set to open near Wayne Gretzky Parkway, adjacent to Lynden Park Mall.

This latest Costco will offer all the bulk essentials the brand is known for, alongside unique features including 24 gas pumps, over 800 parking spaces, and a selection of alcoholic beverages — a recent addition to Costco’s Ontario shelves.

Foodies will be excited to learn that Brantford’s Costco will also be home to Ontario’s first and only in-store sushi department, serving up fresh sushi alongside the chain’s popular ready-to-eat options.

The new warehouse has created 180 permanent and 80 seasonal jobs, benefiting the Brantford community with both employment opportunities and access to affordable essentials, from groceries to clothing and beverages.

Located at 175 Roy Boulevard, the Brantford Costco will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:30 a.m. this Friday, followed by doors officially opening at 7 a.m.
