Health Canada Issues Recall for Marijuana Product Due to Mislabeling of THC and CBD Levels.

Health Canada is recalling a batch of marijuana from Canna Farms Ltd. due to inaccuracies on the product’s label.

The affected product, Tangerine Dream dried cannabis, has been found to have cannabinoid levels that do not match the values stated on the label. Specifically, the total cannabinoid content listed is lower than the actual THC and CBD levels in the product.

Although Health Canada has not received any complaints about this product, Canna Farms Ltd. has reported one complaint about labeling inaccuracies.

Neither Health Canada nor Canna Farms Ltd. have received reports of adverse reactions related to the recalled lot.

The recall involves 23 units of the product sold between May 31, 2024, and July 23, 2024. These products were distributed for medical use.
