AC/DC concert at Rogers Stadium cancelled after storm damage
AC/DC’s upcoming concert at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium has been cancelled after last week’s powerful storm badly damaged the venue.
Rogers Stadium said the 50,000-seat venue suffered severe damage, making it unsafe to host the show. All tickets bought through Ticketmaster will be refunded automatically, while resale ticket holders should contact their seller.
The storm ripped apart parts of the stadium’s north grandstand, and the city later issued an unsafe building order. No injuries were reported.
