Nearly 4,000 safety boots recalled in Canada over injury risk

Thousands of pairs of Dunlop RigPro full safety boots are being recalled in Canada because they may not protect wearers from electric shock.

Health Canada says the recalled boots, sold in dark brown or black, do not meet the required safety standard for static-dissipative footwear. The affected boots have the article code LJ2HX42.CA and display the CSA SD safety logo.

Customers should stop using the boots immediately and return them to the store where they were purchased for a refund.

A total of 3,764 pairs were sold in Canada between August 2024 and July 2026. As of Aug. 26, no injuries or incidents had been reported.
