Chocolate bars recalled and removed from store shelves across Canada

Some chocolate products are being recalled in Canada.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the recall is due to undeclared almonds, which could be dangerous for people with nut allergies.

The affected item is Compliments Organic Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt (100 g), UPC 0 55742 51254 0, code 2026OC07 LOT: 5280. It was sold in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec.

The product was made by Galerie au Chocolat Inc. Consumers are advised not to eat or share the recalled chocolate.
