Health Canada has recalled about 20,000 LOGiiX Piston Power 5000 Mag power banks because they could overheat and cause a fire.
Five models are affected: LGX-13302 (Black), LGX-13303 (White), LGX-13304 (Navy/Midnight Blue), LGX-13839 (Lavender) and LGX-13840 (Blush).
The power banks were made in China and sold by Vancouver-based LOGiiX between January 2022 and July 2025.
Officials say customers should stop using the devices right away and contact LOGiiX for a replacement. As of Feb. 9, there have been four reports of overheating in Canada, but no injuries.
