Over 16,000 Wireless Earbuds Recalled Due to Fire and Burn Risks

A brand of wireless earbuds sold in Canada is being recalled because they could overheat and cause burns or fires.

Health Canada has issued a warning telling anyone who bought the True Wireless Earbuds to stop using them right away and return them to a Giant Tiger store for a refund.

The problem comes from the USB charging cords, which were made with the wrong wiring material. This can cause the earbuds to overheat when they’re plugged in.

Since Nov. 27, there have been three reports of the earbuds overheating in Canada, but no injuries have been reported.

The company says 16,278 pairs of the affected earbuds were sold in Canada. The UPC number is 774223568363 and the SKU is 1545426, which are shown on the packaging. The earbuds were sold between July 17 and Oct. 14, 2025.

Products bought before those dates are not part of the recall, including any that have a label showing lot number 11012025.
