Popular Dollarama Snack Recalled Nationwide Over Safety Concerns

Before grabbing a snack, you might want to check your cupboard. If you’ve bought a waffle treat from Dollarama, it could be part of a nationwide recall.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says Biskwi brand Waffles with Chocolaty Filling are being recalled because of possible mould.

“Do not use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected product,” the CFIA warned in a recall notice issued Friday, Oct. 10, and published Thursday, Oct. 16.

The recall applies to 180-gram packages of Biskwi waffles sold at Dollarama with the UPC code 6 67888 54812 5 and best before dates between April 21, 2026, and May 12, 2026.

The CFIA classified the recall as Class 3, meaning there’s a low risk that eating the waffles will cause health problems.

This isn’t the first food recall to affect Canadians recently.
