Mini Ritz Crackers Recalled in Canada – Here’s the Reason
Christie Mini Ritz Crackers Recalled Across Canada Due to Undeclared Allergen
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for Christie brand Original Mini Ritz Crackers due to the presence of an undeclared allergen.
Announced on Tuesday, the recall warns that the product may contain milk, which is not listed on the label, posing a potential risk for individuals with allergies.
“Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive, as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction,” the CFIA cautioned.
The affected crackers have a UPC code of “0 66721 02774 0” and best-before dates of June 22, 23, or 24, 2025.
The recall was initiated by the company, and no allergic reactions have been reported so far. The CFIA advises consumers to either discard the product or return it to the place of purchase.
