Health Canada Issues Recall for Over 300 Sexual Enhancement Products Across Four Provinces
Health Canada Recalls Hundreds of Sexual Enhancement Products Over Dangerous Ingredients
Health Canada has recalled hundreds of sexual enhancement products from stores in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia due to the presence of potentially harmful ingredients, the agency announced.
In a public advisory, Health Canada revealed that the unauthorized products were found to contain ingredients such as acetaminophen, DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), levodopa (L-dopa), prasterone, sildenafil, and tadalafil. These substances could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Some of the products listed these ingredients on their packaging, while others failed to provide any warning. The hidden substances were identified only through testing.
Health Canada is urging anyone in possession of these products to stop using them immediately and to consult a healthcare professional if they experience any health issues.
