Multiple Bread and Bun Brands Recalled Due to Metal Contamination Concerns
Several popular bread and bun products have been recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) after metal fragments were discovered in some items.
Well-known brands affected include Wonder, No Name, Country Harvest, D’Italiano, and President’s Choice. The recalled products were distributed in Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The CFIA’s recall notice advises, “Do not use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected products.”
It remains unclear if any injuries or illnesses have been reported related to the contamination.
