Carrot Products Recalled in Canada and U.S. Due to E. Coli Contamination Risk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for various carrot products due to potential E. coli contamination. The recall includes carrot juice and packaged carrots with best-before dates ranging from August 14 to November 2.

The affected brands include Compliments Organic, PC Organics, Cal-Organic, and Bunny-Luv.

The CFIA’s recall was prompted by a similar action from U.S.-based Grimmway Farms, the supplier of all impacted Canadian brands, according to information from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Consumers are advised to either dispose of the recalled products or return them to the store where they were purchased.
