Recall Issued for Popular Pasta Sauce Over Listeria Contamination Fears

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a nationwide recall due to potential Listeria contamination.

The recall affects Tagliatelle Seasoned White Chicken & Mushroom Sauce from the Giovanni Rana brand. Although the contaminated products may appear normal and show no signs of spoilage, officials warn that they can still cause illness. Residents are urged to either dispose of the items or return them to the store where they were purchased.

The recalled products have best-before dates ranging from October 10, 2024, to November 16, 2024.

This recall follows a similar action taken in another country, prompting a food safety investigation in Canada. As of now, no illnesses have been reported.
