Recall of Greek Yogurt Sold at Costco

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced a nationwide recall of Costco’s Kirkland Signature Greek Yogurt due to mold contamination.

The recall applies to the 24 x 100 gram packs of yogurt, affected by microbial contamination that, while not harmful, affects the product’s quality and can lead to spoilage.

The product in question has the UPC number 0 96619 22215 5, lot code 8W 173, and a best-before date of August 10, 2024.

In its advisory, the CFIA stated: “Do not use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected product.”

The yogurt was sold at Costco locations across Canada, including Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.
