Dental Care Program Opens Claim Submission for One Million Seniors
The initiative arose from a collaborative political agreement between the Liberals and the New Democrats.
Upon its complete implementation, the program aims to extend accessibility to individuals lacking private insurance and with a household income below $90,000.
Seniors began enrollment late last year, with eligibility expanding to children under 18 and individuals receiving the disabilities tax credit next month.
According to Health Canada, 6,500 oral health professionals, encompassing dentists, hygienists, and denturists, have enlisted to offer services to participants enrolled in the federal dental scheme.
