Apple Unveils Annual Conference, Potentially Unveiling AI Strategy

Apple announced on Tuesday that its annual developers conference, WWDC, is scheduled for June 10 through June 14.

The conference will be streamed live on Apple’s website, with select software developers invited to the campus on the opening day for an in-person celebration, according to Apple.

This year’s WWDC could mark the unveiling of Apple’s highly anticipated artificial intelligence strategy and new consumer features. Earlier in February, CEO Tim Cook hinted at significant investments in AI and teased an AI-related announcement slated for later this year, widely speculated to coincide with the Worldwide Developers Conference.

Traditionally, WWDC serves as the platform for unveiling the latest iterations of iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV software through a keynote presentation led by Tim Cook and other Apple executives, which is also broadcasted on YouTube. Past conferences have also witnessed the introduction of new professional-grade hardware, such as Mac laptops.

Furthermore, Apple intends to disclose the first major software update for Vision Pro, its virtual reality headset launched earlier this year, during this year’s conference.
