Quaker initiates recall of granola bars and cereals due to potential salmonella risk.
Quaker Canada issues a voluntary recall for 38 types of granola bars and Harvest Crunch cereals over potential salmonella exposure.
The decision to recall follows a similar initiative by the Quaker Oats Company in the United States on Thursday.
“This action is being taken in Canada out of an abundance of caution and commitment to the wellbeing of our Canadian consumers,” Quaker Canada said in a release.
The company mentioned that the distributed products subject to the recall are spread across Canada.
