Tim Hortons pledges the nostalgic comeback of classic doughnuts in 2024.

For about twenty years, Canadians have been expressing to Tim Hortons that there’s a void in the company’s menu: The dutchie.

Starting January 10, the dutchie is making a comeback, and Tims President Axel Schwan anticipates that customers will be delighted that the company has responded to their requests. The return of the dutchie coincides with Tim Hortons’ preparations to introduce a range of new products and bring back old favorites in celebration of its 60th anniversary on May 17.

The significant anniversary year will honor some of the initial delicacies featured on the menu when the inaugural Tim Hortons opened its doors in Hamilton, Ontario.

Omelette bites will be introduced in both bacon and egg white as well as spinach varieties, along with sweet chili chicken wraps and bowls.

The omelette bites are set to debut on January 8. Launched in 2019, they were designed to cater to customers seeking a lighter breakfast alternative to sandwiches or aiming to cut down on their carbohydrate intake.

The upcoming bowls and wraps set to launch in February are integral to Tim Hortons’ extensive efforts to dominate the afternoon segment of the fast-food market.

Additionally, Timbit boxes are undergoing a transformation, showcasing the iconic doughnut holes adorned with party hats, accompanied by a character crafted from Timbits—a concept the company introduced along with the treat in 1976.
