At launch, Google’s Pixel Fold will not be available in Canada.
Despite the excitement of the rumored foldable smartphone’s existence, it is regrettable to note that it will not be available in Canada upon its launch. According to MobileSyrup, Google has confirmed that the device will not be released in Canada, thus making it necessary for interested individuals to travel south of the border to acquire it.
The much-anticipated Pixel Fold has a stunning appearance, confirming the many leaked renders that preceded its launch. At the I/O event, Google disclosed that the Pixel Fold would come equipped with Tensor G2 SoC, 12 GB of RAM, IPX8 water resistance, and a Gorilla Glass Victus cover display.
The cover display measures 5.8 inches, while the inner display spans 7.6 inches, and both displays utilize OLED technology with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Pixel Fold will launch in the United States for $1,800 USD (about $2,407 CAD) in two color options: Obsidian and Porcelain (essentially black and white). It will be available starting June.
